About the artist

The artist, in front of Garden of Hearts

Stavya is four and she paints with everything: brushes, crayons, pastels and, often, her fingers.

She grew up around a painter's studio and started making her own pictures as soon as she could hold a brush. She likes big colors, circles, hearts and skies, and she decides when a painting is finished.

Her dad is the California painter Dhruv Shah. New work is added here as it dries.
